Security controls at every boundary
Security is foundational to how Maintis is built. Company, site and role boundaries are enforced by the API rather than relying on what the interface hides.
Four internal roles (Admin, Manager, Staff and Technician) combine with assigned sites to restrict operational access. Two-factor authentication, password controls, private realtime channels and audit records on supported operational data add further protection. Production TLS, storage and monitoring remain deployment controls that operators must configure and verify.
